Welcome to Tim Miller Construction Inc.!

We started our business in 1996.  Prior to that I had been involved in the construction industry for many years working all types of construction doing all sorts of different things.  It was when I was remodeling an old farm house for a  neighbor that I decided to move forward and start this business; the craftsmanship of his house was unbelievable.

When we remodeled older homes versus the newer home we started seeing problems with the new home, such things as decay, rot and moldy insulation; this was the norm.  Remodeling slowed down and with a crew that needed to be put to work we changed practice and started framing homes for other contractors.  At the same time we maintained our license as a contractor to keep us informed of code changes and improvements to the industry.

With all I have seen in the past and what we were doing for other contractors, nothing was changing until my daughter came home one day asking for a science project.  I asker her to research the dew point for me and to find out as much information as she could.  She did.

The result was there is a better way to build a home today.  We started designing our own home based on the research.  A client was in talking about a home they wanted to build and saw our design.  After reviewing our research they said they would like to build a home using this technique.  I told them that I haven't seen the proof from this home yet as ours is just in the beginning stages.   They said the concept makes sense and wanted to build anyway.  They did and today they still love it!

Our plan became a reality.  We contacted many suppliers with various products to see if they were interested in building this type of home and some wanted to.  Then we decided to keep detailed data on the utility usage.  This continues to provide us with the positive information we were originally looking for.   Whether you call it a Green home or SEEFI  home, the energy savings add up.

Since our design we have had a great response to our home and would like to offer you the experience of a

SEEFI (Safe Energy Efficient Foam Insulated) Home.
